Elluminate Overview

The FacTS Center will be presenting workshops on the use of Blackboard Collaborate (formerly called Elluminate) for virtual classrooms. The 1-hour workshop will focus on basic management of an Elluminate room, including:
- managing user permissions
- limiting the number of speakers and/or webcams
- using the whiteboard
- differences between application and desktop sharing
- using polling tools
The session will be held using Collaborate, accessible through this link. We highly recommend that users have access to a headset (headphones at an absolute minimum), and will also provide an opportunity to utilize webcams, if available.
Users are encouraged to schedule appointments with Chris or Leah for assistance in utilizing Plan!, which allows instructors to pre-configure and pre-script actions within Collaborate.
