Why a Lesson Challenge?

In our travels, we have seen some truly outstanding lessons created by SoftChalk users. In 2012 – for the fourth year – we will recognize the work you create and provide an opportunity for you to share your creativity with others.

How do I participate?

  1. Create an account on CONNECT, SoftChalk’s Learning Object Repository.
  2. Publish your completed SoftChalk lessons or eCourses to CONNECT.
  3. Submit your content into the Lesson Challenge.

Did you say prizes?

Of course! The Lesson Challenge award winners will each receive a $500 cash award.

What else do I need to know?

  • The deadline for the lesson challenge will be Friday, January 13, 2012.
  • If you have already published your lesson and/or eCourse in CONNECT, you do not need to resubmit it. Look for the “Enter Lesson Challenge” button on the lesson view page.
  • A committee of educators will review all entries and will award prizes (see judging rubric).
  • You may submit as many lessons and eCourses as you wish.

So, using SoftChalk, she created a class assignment that would do just that.

I just got my trophy in the mail. Thank you to everyone who voted for my lesson and attended the webinar I delivered a few weeks ago. Both were a huge success. The webinar was attended by over 175 people.
